Reaper
Cybershell [Combat Shell]
Perhaps the most infamous combat shell in existence, the Reaper is a dangerous combat shell that is capable of hammering soft targets and cutting through tougher ones. The first Reaper was employed by the company Direct Action in the Utopian Era, and since then, the Reaper has only stuck around, undergoing a number of iteration changes to adapt to the changing technological circumstances and the new social situations. The one thing that has remained a constant, however, is that the Reaper remains a vicious, hard-hitting, damaging shell that is employed in coordination with other shells (usually the Fenrir) to hold targets and act as a counterinsurgency shell.
The core for the Reaper is an armored disc; so that it presents a thin profile to anyone aiming at it. It uses vector thrust nozzles to navigate in microgravity and uses a ionic thrust drive to take advanced of fast movement over distances. It features four leg arms tipped with sharp, reinforced diamond-tipped claws and four weapon pods, all of which can be folded into the core disc-form of the Reaper. The reaper’s shell is made of smart materials, allowing these limbs and weapon mounts to extrude in any direction desired and even to change shape and length. In gravity environments, the reaper walks or hops on two or four of these limbs. It features extended camouflage systems that mask its infrared signature as well as its visual signature, along with a high tolerance for radiation, a resistance to electrical pulses and surges, and an exceptionally quite overall frame, which is designed using sound reducing technologies, so it has a minimal acoustic profile as well. All of these things taken together make the reaper a fast, silent, and lethal killing machine.

Interesting Facts
- Reapers are notorious for their appearance in numerous war and combat videos and movies, giving the cybershell a branding that few other cybershells have and giving the shell notoriety that few other shells have.
- Reapers are illegal on most habitats; AGIs sleeved inside of a Reaper will be required to occupy a different shell before the ship is even allowed to formally dock or berth with the habitat.
- Even the Monarchy and Imperium keep Reapers on tap for special missions.
- The Reaper is not as common in combat situations as many might be lead to believe, since such situations are often dealt with long before the cybershells move in by airborne drones.
